TAINUI DELAYED
ACCIDENT TO RUDDER,

DUNEDIX, This Day. When the dock at Port Chalmers was emptied this morning, after docking the Tainui, it was discovered that half the liner's rudder had been broken oil' and lost. This means a. delay of a week at li'iist. Meantime the propeller will be vemovod to ascertain whether the shafting was bent when the rudder was damaged.
