GOVERNMENT CONTROL RECOM-
LONDON, 23rd- February. The report of the Empire Wireless committee has been presented to the Postmaster-General, While recommending Government control, it is not unfavonrable to private companies. The "Daily Chronicle" understands that the Donald committee's report favours the Government's resumption of the control of wireless stations in order to secure direct communication with the Dominions without having to rely upon possible monopoly.
The Empire Wireless Committee; under the chairmanship ot Mr. Robert Donald, late president of the Empire v Press Union, was appointed to report lo the Government as soon as practicable on the possibilities of a chain of Empire wireless stations.
