(OHITEB MUM AIBOCIATION;—COPTJUGHT.) (Received 27th November, 11.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Obituary.—Dr. John Gallagher, Roman Catholic Bishop of Goulbum.
Dr. Gallagher, who was born in Ireland in 1846, waß ordained in 1869, and arrived in Goulbum th« following year. He was president of St. Patrick's College for fourteen years, and was appointed rector of Wagga Wagga in 1887. He was consecrated Coadjutor Bishop of Goulbum in 1895, and succeeded to the See in June, 1900.
