Investigation revealed that the body was that of a man about 40, years of age. There were three knife wounds in deceased's neck, a very large gash across the right thigh, a deep wound on the right wrist and a cut on the right forearm. A pocket knife with one blade open was found beneath the body. The man had apparently bled to death. In one pocket waa a memonam card on which was written: "F. R. Roller (my name)."
