Imagine a millionaire's daughter in a colony of castaways dominated by a ruthless leader whose decree is that any woman landing there must marry the man of her choice within twentyrour hours, and the subject matter of "Isle of Lost Ships" is revealed. Maurice Tourneur directed the picture, which is an ideal sea film, adventurous, sensational, romantic. The acting of Milton Sills and Anna Q. Nilsson, heading a superb cast, is just,what' can be expected of two such finished artists. The programme also includes items of topical"and comedy interest, while Air. Matt. Dixon's fine orchestra charms the ear with catchy selections, including the favourite "Poet and Peasant" overtake of Suppe.
