DE VALERA'S CAREER CLOSED
SUBJECT OF DEEP DISTRUST.
LONDON, 24th August. The Dublin correspondent of the "Daily Express" says that de Valera will not be released whether he is elected for Clare or not.
There need be no further anxiety about the possibility of de Valera emerging to resume his campaign of destruction. A member of the Government says da Valera's career asa politician and agitator may be regarded.;as closed, at ,any rate for some yers. He has inspired .his late colleagues with such intense distrust that they would' discredit any promise he made now,, even the most solemn.
