SHORTT'S THEATRE.

So successful has been the past week's season of "Souls for Sale," the star feature at Shortt's Theatre, that tho management have decided to extend the season for a further week. This popular film, the product of the Goldwyn Studios, contains nine reels of romance and sensation. There are no fewer than fifty-four stars in the production. The whole production shows the master hand. One sees Charlie Chaplin, as he is, without make-up, directing his com/pany; Eric Yon Stronheim showing a member of his cast how to act a certain scene; one gets a taste of the harshness necessary to deviate screen aspirants with coquettish eyes from their ideas of stardom; one sees such well-known favourites as Anita Stewart, Kathlyn Williams, T. Kay Barnes, Zasu Pitts, Blanch Sweet, Marshall Neilan, and many.other stars "off stage," happy, companionable folk. Altogether, "Souls for Sale," apart from the charm of tho theme,- shows. Hollywood as it really is, without dangerous caricature. There arc other supports, and entrancing music by the augmented orchestra. •
