Ine mam drive to the 400 feet level in the Central Mine has been blocked up by a big fall, which occurred on Saturday night. Smoke is now seen in the 500 feet level, • but it has not been ascertained whether the fire has readied this level or whether the smoke is coming from the 400 feet level.
