The best bowling averages are: W. Rhodes, sixty-eight wickets, average 10.30; C. Matthews, eighty-nine, 11.66.

LONDON, 16th July. E. A. M'Donald (ex-Australian cricketer), against Lowerhousc, accomplished the best bowling performance in Lancashire League games, taking seven wickets for 12 runs.
