, The annual meeting of the Welling-' ton' Rowing Club was held last evenj 1 ing, Mr. J. R. Crawford presiding. The; 1 annual report stated that the club was now better off as far as plant was con-' cerned than it had been for many years" During last season £161 had been spent' m new plant, and £77 in repairs to old plant. The adverse weather conditions had seriously affected the club activk ties, but nevertheless some good racing had bei;n witnessed. Early in February an old members' reunion had been 1 held, which had proved a great success.; The committee hoped to make this re-: union an annual affair. Several crews from St. Patrick's College had renewed their connection with the club, and had made good progress under the coaching of 'Mi\ W: Thorn. Next season it was probable that \ Ihe crews would compete in inter-col-.' iegiate races. The balance-sheet showed the club to have a credit, balance of £900.
