The Leader of the Opposition (Mr. I. M. Wilford) has given notice to ask the Hon. J. G. Cosites whether, in view pf the policy he adopted of compelling members of the Post and Telegraph staff with 40 years' service to resisru, it is proposed to adopt the same policy with thu officers of the Railways Department. Mr. Coates recently took charge of the Railway Department, ami combines those "duties with those of the Postmaster-General.
