FROZEN MEAT MARKET.
Messrs. Dajgety and Company, Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London house, under date of 14th June: Lamb : New Zealand prime crossbred lamb, Canterbury, heavy, 10|d; light, lljd; North Island, heavy, 1133 d; light, lOJd.' Demand is better owing to warm weather; prices firmer. Mutton: New Zealand prime crossbred mutton, Canterbury, heavy, CJd; light, 8ld; North Island, heavy, CJd; light, Bd. Demand steady; prices firmer Beef: New Zealand prime ox beef, hinds, 4Jd; fores, 2Jd. Prices nominal; no demand. Australian Frozen Meat: Good average quality, crossbred lamb, Australian, heavyi S}d; light, 9id. Demand better. Good average quality crossbred mutton, Australian, heavy, 5Jd; light, 5Jd. Demand fair. Very heavy supplies of chilled beef have been marketed during the last week, and prices show a serious decline. Frozen beef and boned are unsaleable at present. The market for frozen mutton and lamb looks like improving-.
