A bursting tire caused a motor-car to skid' and capsize on the water-race three miles from Methven, entrapping the driver, Tto ward Seldi.ui, of Ashl.mvti.n. wlio t'scitj-JUti jju«-i|i]i' drowning by lirriikitig through a wind-screen.
