Heavy westerly galea were experienced during the seven days the vessel was at the island, and she was unable to take lier departure for Auckland until the 26th May. Light variable winds prevailed until reaching the Kermadec Islands, and then westerlies and southerns until reaching the New Zealand coast. Cape Brett was sighted on Tuesday afternoon, and northerly winds brought the veßEel into port.
