HUTT LADIES' CLUB.

The weekly medal competition of the Hutt Ladies' Golf Club held yesterday afternoon saw some better scoring. The competition was for the first of the silver spoons presented by Mrs. Kirkcaldie. The winner proved to be Miss N. Jervis, who played the very creditable round of 91, ft good perforniance fpr g, !£ handicap player in view of the fact that the competition was played in a fairly high wind- She had a net gcore of 7<j. The best gross round of the afternoon was played by Mrs. Wagg, \vho, however, bad misfortune coming home. She went out in the very fine score of 38, but took 45 for the second half, and finished wjtln a net score of 78. The other cards handed in were: Mrs. Chesney, 110-27, 83; Miss Mi Flux, 95-11, 84 j Miss V. Jones, IMB, 86; Mrs. Spiers, 96-9, 87. "
