The C. and D. liner Port Adelaide has been delayed at Toiomaru Bay by bad weather, and -is now to leave there this evening for Napier, Wanganui, and Wellington to continue loading The vessel is due here on the 10th March and will leave on the 21st March for Lyttelton to complete her cargo. The Port Adelaide is to sail from Lyttetton on the 24th March for London, via Monte Video.

PORT AUCKLAND, FROM NEW YORK. the C. and D. Line advises that the Port Auckland was to sail from New York to-day with cargo for Auckland, Wellington, Ijttelton, aad Dunedin.

at Auckland on Sunday, and berthed to discharge 10.750 cases of oil and general cargo, including 1000 bandies asphalt, 600 cases canned fruit, also paint, raisins, re6in, turpentine, und rice. Leaving Canada on 23rd January, and United States on 2nd' February, the steamer experienced excellent weather until close to. the Kerm adecs. She then encountered a cyclone which xtelayed her arrlvel by four days. The storm-wns apparently the 6ame'as that experienced hy «.->ther vessels in the South Pacific recently. Fortunately the deck cargo withstood the heavy, strain of the continued bufTetting, and none a'f, it went overboard. While it "lasted, this danV!er was. recognised by the officers, and tta probability that floating planks would foul the propeller and. damage the hull was also seen.. As ft was, the steamer came throueh without daras.ge. Captain H. Olsen, formerly, mate on the las Vegas and West Mahwnh. is in command.

BJEVON HOMEWARD BOUND. • The Devon, which sailed from Wellinston on the 16th January, arrived, at Las Palmas on the Ist March, and sailed the same day for London.

CARGO FROM LIVERPOOL.

The' Port Melbourne is expected to sail from Liverpool on the 10th March with cargo for discharge at Auckland. Wellington, Lytteltou, ,and Dunedin.

As already reported, the ex-Kaiser's yacht Hohenzollk'-m is being flttedl *ut by the Germans as a. trade ship to tour the British Dominions. TVough the work Is being carried out with all speed, it does not .seem likely that the German v&'sel will, after all, get out to the Dominions bi'fore the Bnfeßii trader.
