SHORTT'S THEATRE.
"While Satan Sleeps," a strong and wholesome story being shown at Shortt's Theatre, gives' Jack Holt, the noted screen star, one of the most, highly-dramatic roles. Peter B. Kyne's article in the " Saturday Evening Post " is the basis on which tte drama is founded. It contains both comedy and pathos in profusion, and is enacted by an excellent cast, including Fritzi Brunette, Betty Francisco, Herbert Standing, Sylvia Ashton, Fred Huntley, and J. P. Lockne,y. Jack Holt has the unusual role of a fighting parson. He is not actually a par, son, but assumes the disguise for a definite purpose; and when shown the error of his ways he fights not only his enemies, but wages a battle for the regeneration of his own soul. A prologue, '"Belgium Smiles Again," a comedy, " Torchy and Orange Blossoms,!' and a Gazette complete an excellent programme..
