MR. PERCY LEWIS, CRICKETER.
(UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.—COPYRIGHT.)
MELBOURNE, 29th November. Percy Lewis, the one-time international cricketer, is dead.
[Percy Lewis was born in Balla'rat in 1864. He. first came into prominence through making a big score against the Englishmen, when they visited Ballarat. He was a first-class wicket-keep, but his claims for selection in "big" cricket had to be overlooked owing to his being a contemporary of Blackham, the world's greatest cricketer.]
