(UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.—COPIRISHT.) \ . ADELAIDE, 27th July. Parliament was opened to-day by the Lieutenant-Governor, whose speech was one of the shortest on record. He said the Government intended to erect grad; ing silos on Government properties, and to co-operate with the Federal Government in an immigration scheme. The accumulated deficit to the end of June amounted to £1,554,567.
