ASSOCIATION,
A meeting of the Wellington Football Association was held on Wednesday, Mr. '•'A. E. Wells presiding. A protest wae received from the Is: land .Bay Olub that Petone had played unregistered players agfiinet fchenj. It was decided to write to the Petone 01ub,j asking them,to furnish, a complete ljst of players. A protest was also received from the Wadestown ' Olub. alleging that Y.M.O.A. had played two players in a fifth grade match who were members of the St. Thomas's: Olub. It was decided to ask y.JVf.C'.A. i for a report, oil the matter. ■ , Marist' ontered "a protest agiainst the. game played last Saturday being awarded to St. Thomas's, who, it was alleged, had replaced a player during the second spoil. : Tlie club js to be asked to forward an explanation. ' - The" Auckland Football Association wrote, asking that a schoolboys' team he sent (fo the '.Northern city. Tlie suggestion was maije that- this team might play an interpixiyincial schools football match as a' curtain-raiser to one of the Brown matches. . The billeting of the boys and the paying" of pari of their travelling expenses would be defrayed. Tho matter was referred to the Public Schools Football Association. j The Karori Olub WTOte, pointing out the failure of some of the referees to i put in ail appearaflpe at the matches.' The matter "was referred to the Referees' Association. - The transfer of F. Babbitt,, from Waterside junior tp Y.M.C'.A., waa approved. The Brooklyn Olub's application for permission to play a match with the Nelson Olub was. granted, "The Aotea, Ladies' Association asked the committee to make application to the City Council for the use qf a ground" for a, match on stVAugust. It was decided to ask the ladies for further particulars,' and when they were received to forward the applioatiotv to the council with, a covering letter.
