FARMERS' UNION AND R.S.A.
The general secretary of tho Returned Soldiers' Association, Colonel Pow, attended the Farmers' Union meeting yesterday, and said he had been requested by tho president (Major-General Sir Andrew Russell) to call on the conference and'request it to nominate a small sub-com-mittee to discuss, matters affecting soldiers' interests with the' R.S.A. The president of the Farmers' Union (Mr. 'W. J. Poison) suggested that a member of the Returned Soldiers' executive.be appointed an honorary member of tho Dominion executive of the Farmers' Union. - The president and-other n.embera of the Union promisbci to give tho association every help possible.
