LONDON, 12th July.

The quarterly shipbuilding returns of Lloyd's Eegister show that, deducting 481,000 tons on which work has been suspended, the new building amounts to 1,439,000 tons, which is 316,000 below that of the March quarter and 451,000 tons below the pre-war quarterly average. The tonnage bnilding abroad, excluding approximately 545,000 in Germany, is 128,000 tons below that of last quarter. The chief decreases are in Italy, France, and Holland..
