AUSTRALIA ECONOMISING.

SYDNEY, This Day.
The State Meteorologist has received word that the Commonwealth will discontinue the interchange of telegraphic weather and river reports between the country stations and Sydney, as no funds are available. The change is calculated to cause far-reaching inconvenience and hardship in the back country. -
