The following points have been gained in the county cricket championship:— Surrey and Yorkshire, 76 7:oints each; Notts, 74; Lancashire, 71; Kent,. 65; Middlesex, 61; .Hampshire, 53; Sussex, 52; Essex, 38 r ; Warwick, 35. LONDON, 7th July. The last three days' cricket has been entirely spoilt by rain. Players, in their match against Gentlemen, made,24s. runs for seven wickets. The match was abandoned. . Kent made 185, and Notts 112 for four \vickets. The match was abandoned. Leicestershire made 170 and 102 for four wickets, and AVarwickshire 168. The match, was drawn. Gloucester liad made 47 for one wicket against Glamorgan when the matcb was abandoned. Derbyshire made 99 and SS for two wickets. Yorkshire, with 202 for BIX wickets, declared. The match was drawn: Sussex made 231 and 78 for six wickets, and Lancashire made 208. The match was drawn. E. Tyldesley and Hendren have each reached 1000 runs.
