'BAWRA" ACTION RESENTED.
(DNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.— COPTMSKr.)
(AMTRAUAN - KIW ZIALAM* CAILI ASSOCIATION.)
(Eeceived July. 10, 9 a.m.)
LONDON, Bth July. Yorkshire papers strongly protested against "Bawra's" decision at the last minute to' withdraw all New Zealand wool from the Liverpool sales, describing the action as an expedient to prevent a fall in prices. On the contrary, it recognised that without the withdrawal, the July programme in London and Liverpool would have totalled 250,000 bales. A block has been caused by the impossibility of Yorkshire combers to handle increased quantities. Wool is still a vital factor, because it leaves heavy accumlations, making it difficult to finance further supplies. .'.'.'' The best features of the situation are the well-maintained consumption of tops and yarns and the gradual improvement in the manufacturing branches, although, buying has not readied anything like its pre-war volume.
