COMMUNITY SINGING
Wellington's Free Kinderga.rtens will no doubt benefit considerably from the collection on Tuesday, when the usual weekly sing will be held in tho Town Hall. The- governors of the Kindergartens, who aro doing such great work through their teachers, are really having a trying time finding the necessary cash to enable them to curry on, but the happy community singers are sure to respond in their usual whole-hearted manner. "Happy" Silver will act as song leader on ' Wednesday, and, having had much experience in this class of work, he will keep everyouo merry and bright during the Happiness Hour. Mrs. Albert Russell will act ;»s accompanist, and during tho sing as many cheer germs as poffiblr-. will be radiated. Tlie Courtenay-placo people will hold U.eir third sing at the Paramount Theatre on Thursday, next at 12.30 p.m. The committee has secured the sorvic.es of Mr. J. L.-imbm-t as leader, and Messrs. Searlo a:id Wilson, arid a good programme has been prepared.. Thouet proceeds will be banded over to the Mayor's Unemployed Fund.
