Strikingly original and full of delight for old and young is the new play to bo presented at tho Grand Opera House on 18th, 19th, and 20th July. "Pinooohio tho Puppet and Cinderella the Doll"—an absolute novelty for theatregoers—will be produced under tho joint direction of Mies G. Helen Gird'ner and Mrs. James Hannah, "Phiocchio," adapted from Carlo Lorcn_ini, is a series of the most original and unexpected adventures of a mischievou. puppet. It begins with the finding of a wonderful piece of wood that laughs and cries like a child, and finishes with the giving of a soul to Pinocchio by hie good genius the Fairy with the Blue Hair. "Cinderella" will be a brilliant spectacle, staged with all the beauty to be obtained by clouds of fairies, innumerable glittering pages, courtiers, and ladies, and all things fitting to a fairy tale. A hundred performers, air pupils of Miss G. Helen Gardner, will take part.
