TIME OVER THE 'PHONE
TO THE EDITOR,
Sir, —In reply to A. Perewiki's letter in to-night's Post, may we offer the following suggestion to your readers: The public can, with confidence, set their watches to correct time within a few seconds, by listening for the first stroke on the hour bell of the General Post Office tower clock at any hour of the twenty-four. We maintain this clock for the Government, and it is never more than a few seconds from correct time.—We are, etc.,
