I The body of David King, a farmer, of Branxton, was found near his farm partly burnt, with two wounds on the head and the skull fractured. It is surmised that King was murdered by being hit on the. head with the swingle-bar of his turn-out, which was employed in dragging timber to a fire on the farm. The body was found by King's wife, lying face upwards on the fire. King has left three children, the eldest being j thirteen. (Received July 8, 11 a.m.) I _ SYDNEY, This Day. The police are of opinion that Mr. King was not murdered, but was kicked on the head by a horse. An examination of his skull indicates that such was the cause of his death.
