A bad-tempered woman was being crossexamined. Her husband, obviously the weaker vessel, listened sheepishly. The opposing oounsel pressed a certain question rather urgently, and she said, angrily, "You needn't try to catch me. You triad that once before." The barrister said: "Madam I havo not the slightest desire to catch you.; and your husband looks as if Be were sorry he did,'"
