. The Sunday night concert of the Wellington ;, Municipal; Tramways A.Band promises to be a real treat. The. band' has attained. considerable popularity by reason of , the: excellence of - its '■ pro-. grammes, which have reached a high artistic' standard., Mr. T; Goodall will' conduct, and among the numbers .will" ba ' the grand selection,- "Rienzi,": and • the popular Sousa march,; ■' "Stars:'and' Stripes,'"' with special trombone .feature; Miss C. R. Tow'nsend,-soprano; "will sing' ''Abide With Me"-and "She isFar'Fron. ' the Land.". She has.a very,sweet, cultured . voice, and her solob are always enjoyed.
