STRAND THEATRE.
The success of Charles Chaplin's latest picture, "The Kid," has been so pronounced that arrangements have' been made to further extend the season another week. Although thousands have laughed over the picture, many will be glad to avail themselves of the opportunity of seeing it' again, and many, particularly visitors, will be able to witness this popular picture. In addition to the comedy, the successful production, "Charge It," will be screened. This fine dramatic story of society gives Clara Kimball Young a great opportunity to display her versatility as society queen, modest housewife, nurse, and scullery maid in succession. Miss Young is wonderfully convincing. The story is a strong indictment against extravagance and the foolish practices and foibles of modern society. "The Lure of the Circus" will be screened at the day sessions only.
