Two charges of having published tolalisator 1 dividends were admitted by Samuel Nelson in, tho Magistrate's Court to-day. The charges related to races at Wellington and Paeroa respectively. ' - Chi el-Detective M'llveney said that defendant was a bookmaker's agent. He received information as to dividends *,y > wire, and published them <to bookmak- J ers at Aucldand, .Hamilton,'and Frank- '" ton Junction. Ho lived by this means. Defendant, who had nothing to say, was fined £20 on eacji charge, and was ' allowed a month in which to pay.
