DAIRYMEN CONFER

A PRIVATE CONFERENCE.

The critical position which has arisen in the dairying: industry is being discussed at a conference of representatives of dairy factories which opened at the Farmers' Institute this morning. There was a large attendance, presided over by Mr. A. Morton, chairman of the National Dairy Association. Butter and cheese interests were fully represented. The press was not permitted to report the proceedings, and up to the time of going to press no statement as to the nature of the business had been made.
