TRAIN AND MOTOR-LORRY COLLIDE
[ MAN DIES PROM INJURIES. (IT TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) , CAMBRIDGE, 3rd January. A fatal motor accident occurred at Cambridge, the victim being Mr. Owen Aiken, of Hamilton. Mr. Aiken, his wife, and Mrs. Monk, his motJierrinlaw, were driving, in a motor-lorry, and were going over, a level :. railway crosßing when a train collided with the lorry. The vehicle was wrecked, and Mr. Aikon's body was terribly mutilated. He was taken,to Nurse Russell's private hospital, where ho received medical attention, but died an hour and a-half later. Mrs. Aiken had her nose and an arm broken, and was otherwise severely injured, but is likely to recover. Mrs. Monk suffered from a number'of bruises and a severe shaking. Mr. Aiken was 32 years of age, and was a former resident of Cambridge. /
