ROSEMARY REES COMEDY CO.
In "The Mollusc," Hubert Henry Davies's brilliant comedy, which the Rosemary Rees Enfilish Comedy Company is producing at the Opera House, commencing to-night, and for a five nights season, the characterisation is said to be so true to life and the humour so genuine that the enjoyment of the play remains for ever in the mind. "Human Molluscs" are defined by Tom Kemp in tho play as persons who use all their energy and ingenuity in "sticking instead of moving," in whom the instinct for what he calls "molluscry" is as dominating as an inborn vice. It is in Tom's efforts to cure his sister of "molluecry" that the humour of the comedy consists, and a charming love story runs through the play. Miss Rosemary Rees played Mrs. Baxter at the Aldwyoh Theatre, London, with Mr. Julius Knight as Tom Kemp. Mr. Harold Moran is now playing the part, and is said to give a delightfully humorous and convincing performance.
