SYNOD VOTE ON PROHIBITION
(UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.—COPTRIOIIT.)
ADELAIDE,- 9th September. The Anglican Synod, sitting in Adelaide, discussed a. motion in favour of prohibition., The clerical section adopted the motion and the lay section, negatived it by small majorities. As a majority in each section -was required the motion*was lost.
