KING GEORGE THEATRE, LOWER HUTT.
This evening concludes the beauty competition at the. King George Theatre, Lower Hutt, and the* voting is close enough "for the verdict to be dependent on the day's tickets. To-night's programme includes two features, one of them a Paramount-Artcraft racing picture,. "The Home Stretch," featuring Douglas M'Lean. The management have arranged a specially-attrac-tive programme for Monday. It will commence with ','Uncharted Seas," in which Alice Lake plays the lead, and in which much of the action takes place in the Arctic ice-world. The results of the beauty competition will then be announced, and the prizes will be presented by Miss Isabel Wilford. The entertainment will be concluded with : a concert by a'party headed by'Mr. Albert Mayes, the Australian bass singer.
