There was a representative attendance of buyers at the final local sale of the season, and of. the offering of 1697 bales practically the whole was cleared/Prices showed a marked improvement for finer quality. Crossbreds were on a par with last sales; merino sold well, to Is for fleece, 9d for first pieces, and 7d for bellies. Top prices for halfbreds was 12£ d. Three-quarter-bred, rfot a.' good selection, brought, to 6jd, crossbreds to . sd. ■ ' ' '
