RELATIONS TO BE RESUMED

President Harding has announced that the Treaty with Germany will be signed soon, and a draft was submitted to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee today. It is learned at White House that it provides for the resumption of peacetime relations. With the exception, of some commercial understandings, no other treaty is contemplated. It is understood* that the American Commissioner in Berlin has already been instructed to sign to-day, Senators having given President Harding their approval.

VANCOUVER, 25th August.' It is reported from Beilin that the Peace Treaty between Germany and the United States was signed to-day.
