The Tailwaymen's executive considered the proposals submitted by tho .Minister of Kailway*. arising out of the parlous financial position, and involving a reduction in pay. Tho men's executive decided that it was unable to be a party to any agreement having the effect of returning to worse conditions than before the war. The executive -will consider the. matter further before giving its final anawar.
