The R.M.S. Makura arrived at Auckland this morning froui Vancouver. She was to leavt Auckland again this afternoon for Sydney.

SYI)NEY-SAN FRANCISCO MAIL STEAMER.

The RM.S. Mararaa left Sydney yesterday morning for Wellington. She is due hero next Monday morning, and will sail at 3 p.m. on the 30th August for San Francisco, via Karotonga and Papeete.

The Pakeha is to. leave Port Chalmers tomorrow . to- complete Homeward loading at Tokomaru Bay* and Gisborne. i She ,is expected to sail from Gisborne on the sth September lor London, via Australia.

The Canadian Spinner should arrive at Melbourne next Wednesday from Sydney. She is due at Auckland on the 15th September, and at Wellington about five days later. After completing, taking in her Wellington cargo she will proceed to Lyttelton about the 25th September, and will finally sail from there for New York.

The Kaliika should arrive at Wellington, on Monday from Gisborne. i ■ f

Ihe Kov-hai and the . Kokiri are due at Wellington next Sunday and Tuesday respectively from Oreymouth. .

The wUitomo is to' leave Wellington on Tuesday for Bunedin.

"The Union Company hopes to despatch the Komata from Wellington next Monday for Wcrtport.

. The Connna,. due at Wellington this evening from New Plymouth, is to sail on Monday for Dunediß, Oamaru, and Timaru
