JUDGMENT IN MILNE FRAUD CASE

SYDNEY, 24th August. The Judge delivered his reserved decision in the Milne case, finding that although innocent of frauds, the partners were responsible for William Milne's actions.
[The Federal Government claimed £29,662 from Milne Brother*. The claim alleged that this amount- 'Wis paid to the defendants for gooda -which were not supplied to the Cockatoo dockyards. The Judge gave judgment for the full amount claimed against William Milne, a member !of the firm, who is serving a sentence in connection with frauds at. the dockyard's.] ' /
