'This man was found at 2 o'clock this morning in a half-starved condition," said Sub-Inspector Willis, when an elderly man, John Findlay, appeared in the Magistrate's Court to-day, before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., on a charge of being an idle and disorderly person in that he had insufficient means of support.
