MR. HUGHES EXPECTED TO FIND A WAY OUT
ATTITUDE OF COUNTRY PAKTy.

The Federal Ministerial crisis is cansing much comment in view of the extreme view Mr. Hnghea takes of the. Country Party's action in taking business out of the hands of the Government, notwithstanding the repeated; assurances that this wae quite unintentional, as is evidenced by the party subsequently -voting in a body for Mr. Hu^jhes'& motion. The general view is that Mr. Hughes will find a way not only to remain in office and attend the Imperial Conference, but to exploit the incident and strengthen his position, so for as the Country Party i B concerned. (Eeceived April 18, 10 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. Dr. Earl Page in an interview stated that the Country Party was emghatio in its determination not to grant immunity to the Government during the absence of Mr. Hughes. He reiterated that if the Government was unwilling to take the responsibility of sending a representative to London it should make way for one that will.
