VIOLIN CONCERTS.
Two' concerts are to be given at the Town Hall on Wednesday and Saturday of next week by the youthful violin player Daniel Lubowski. Master.. Daniel, who is only twelve years old, and is on a world's tour, is now Visiting Australasia following a most successful tonr of Japan and the Philippine Islands. Further concerts are' to be given in- Brißbane and Sydney/and elsewhere in Australia upon [completion of the New Zealand 1 tour. The first programme here includes the popular Mendelssohn's; Con-' certo: Op. W, and other. it«ms ,are Wieniawski's "Lfegen'de," the "Zephyr," and "Hejre-Kati" • (by Hubay), "Introduction and Rondo Cappriccioso" (by Saint\Saens), the "Zigeunerweiseh" (by P. Sarasate), "Humoresque" (by Dvorak), and "The Rosary." The. accompanist is Daniel's sister Anna' (aged 13), who will play the Prelude by Rachmaninoff. "William Tell 1' will be rendered on the bells by Master Joseph Lubowski, and the family of instrumentalists will also give popular orchestra selections. Seats may be reserved at the Bristol Piano Company, where the ; plans wjH be opened on Monday.
