POINCARB AND THE "POUND OF FLESH"
LONDON, 16th January.
The Paris correspondent of the Sunday Times states that M. Pome-are xepreeanted the "pound of flesh" interpretation of the Treaty, but the much more moderate men, Mi Millerand and M. Leygues, found it necessary to curtail even their programme in view of the opposition of the Allies'. Unreasonable adherence, to M- Poincars's policy might expose Franco to that isolation for which Germany longs.
