(PUBLISHED BY APRANGEMENT.) C. DAHL AND CO., LTD., Dairy Machinery Merchants, Palmerston North.

I This firm occupies its usual position amongst the exhibitors in the- machinery hall, and have again the premier exhibit of dairy machinery and appliances. The exhibit this year, notwithstanding the difficulty of landing shipments from Home, shows a first-class assortment. The firm, which is so well and favourably known throughout the Dominion, is the New Zealand representative for the famous Silkeborg dairy machinery, and the now so well-known Lacta and Milka cream separators. These machines are of excellent quality, and numerous factories which have used the Lacta 700----gallon power-driven separator speak in the highest terms of the efficiency of same. Amongst the exhibits we notice several large milk and cream pasteurisers, starter heaters, milk, cream, and butter weighers, cream, milk, whey, and water pumps, large and small milk and cream coolers, and, in fact, everything included and required in a modern dairy factory and on the farm. The firm is also the North Island agent for Dunn's patent curd agitators, of which so many are now working throughout the Dominion, to the complete satisfaction of the factory officials. This year further improvements have been made in this excellent machine, and it seems to run like clockwork, and is well worth inspection. _ The firm also shows the Dunn's patent disc cleaner, a device made for the purpose of speedily and efficiently washing and cleaning separator discs, after they have been used in the separation of milk or whey. This machine has many decided advantages, and does the work in a third of the time occupied when done by hand. A boy or girl can easily operate this machine, and taking into consideration the shortness of labour, this invention should be a decided boon to dairy factories. Also showing is Dahl's patent milk cooler and aerator, a novel and1 most useful contrivance, whereby milk can, even in the hot summer months, be delivered at the factory in first-class order and condition, thus saving the very oiten justified complaints of bad milk. The firm holds very high credentials and testimonials from users of this machine.' Farmers and1 factory managers would do well to inspect same. The firm is also exhibiting hand separators, churns, butter workers, milk cans, etc. The central attraction of the exhibit is a two-gallon Silkeborg regenerator pasteuriser, the first of its kind shown in Palmerston North, and which is drawing much attention. The firm are also New Zealand agents for the famous Dana rennet.
