Electrical Torch Merchant, Palmerston North. . \ \ . Mr. Oldaker, whose shop is situated in Main-street, just below the G.P.0., Palmerston North, started business seven years ago as a manufacturer and commission agent, but, owing to the war, he started a retail business, and he specialises 'in electrical goods generally. His present stocks of torches, refills, and! bulbs embrace a very large assortment, and the special attention of show visitor^ is directed to the wonderful collection of torches being displayed in his win-' dows. Mr. Oldaker has opened a branch in Cuba-street, nearly opposite the Soldiers' Club, where the, public, .going or coming from the Show Grounds, can be supplied with all requirements. No one can do without a, torch these daris nights, and if motorists find anything ■ goes wrong with their engine a torch is invaluable, as holding a lighted match near' tho benzine tank is very risky.
