.VICTORIA CLUB
The annual report of the Victoria Bowling Club states that the membership is now 105. The receipts for the year were £404 13s sd, the expenditure £446 19s 3d, and the bank overdraft £48 19s sd. The club's War Relief Fund now stands at £15 2s sd, having, received £3 15s Id in donations and interest since last report. Subscription to the Red Cross "Our Day," collected on the opening day amounted to £5 6s. The billiard tables have proved to ba an exceptional means of adding to the enjoyment of many members, particularly during the winter montli3. Provision is now made to entend the privileges so that the tables may be made available for imembers' families. The tables me now clear of debt, and the belief expressed last year, that they should soon become a source of; revenue to the club, will now be realised. The debts to Messrs. Townseud and Norwood, and Messrs. Bolton and Madeley have been extinguished, so that the tables now become an asset of the club.
